Talbot House in Pateley Bridge is both a haven for people needing a peaceful break and a true alternative to the bustle of Harrogate for conference delegates.
Simple updated accommodation in a former 18th century coaching inn, this three star Guest House on the High Street is being restored and upgraded in keeping with its original character.
We have Double and Twin en suite rooms with showers; all our rooms have televisions, tea-making facilities, books and magazines.

Proprietor Stephen Boyden turned a dream of owning a business in the Yorkshire Dales into reality when he took over one of Pateley Bridge's oldest listed buildings in 2002. He renamed it Talbot House and has been refurbishing it ever since.
Stephen's career spans working for Grand Metropolitan Hotels in the South, running a wine bar in the City of London and managing the restaurant at The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. More recently he spent three years with Borders Books and Music where he indulged his love of good literature and cappuccino.
